WHAT IS DPI?

...

What is DPI and what does it do?

DPI (dots per inch) is a standard used to measure the sensitivity of a device's cursor, expressed as the number of dots per linear inch. By changing the DPI, you can instantly adjust the speed of the pointer for tasks such as aiming in a game or editing photos.

Is high DPI good?

The higher the DPI, the greater the number of dots and the clearer the print. Generally, the higher the DPI, the higher the print quality. However, printing with the highest possible DPI is not always necessary.

Is mouse DPI important?

When looking at mouse specifications, the DPI value stands out. The higher the DPI value, the more dots the mouse will capture per centimeter and process. DPI, which is characterized as mouse sensitivity, is of vital importance to gamers.

What DPI should FPS games be?

Start by trying low DPI values like 400 and 800 and training in games. If you feel that the mouse is slow, you can increase the DPI value to 1000-1500. If that's still not enough, you can try higher DPI values. After this stage, you can finish the job by making in-game settings.
