What is Power Supply?


Power supply, also known as a power source, refers to the energy provider for any system or device that relies on energy. It can also be defined as an electrical power device, the equivalent term in English for "elektriksel güç aleti" in Turkish. The general term for units responsible for providing energy is a power supply.


What is the Function of Power Supply?


Power supplies ensure the stable operation of electronic devices by providing electrical energy at correct voltage and current values. These sources convert the alternating current (AC) from the main power source to direct current (DC), supplying the energy required by the devices.


What is Power Supply Watt?


A Power Supply Unit (PSU) is a fan-equipped power source with electronic circuits inside, having specific wattage ratings. When purchasing, the power requirements of all components inside the case are calculated, and a PSU with an appropriate wattage value is chosen. The PSU, being the heart of the case, plays a crucial role.


What Can Be Done with Power Supply?


Power Supply is a component used to distribute energy evenly to operate the hardware in a computer. Also known as PSU (Power Supply Unit), it converts incoming AC power at 220 V to DC power, distributing the necessary energy for the computer.


What Does PSU Bronze Gold Mean?


Power supplies that can deliver 80% of the power from the city grid to the system receive this certification. Those providing at least 85% efficiency are categorized as Bronze, 89% as Silver, 92% as Gold, 94% as Platinum, and those offering at least 96% efficiency are Titanium certified.
