Basic Business and Responsibilities :

• Computers, printers, projectors, card systems, etc. provides technical support.
• Makes software updates.
• The antivirus used in the third-party PCs updates the installation of applications such as Office.
• Active user gives support.
• For technical problems that are under guarantee and can not be solved by the existing faculty facilities, they will contact with the related companies and follow up.
• If necessary, give 7/24 support.
• Responsible for the careful use and arrangement of the devices found at the moment.
• It does the other tasks that it gives.
• Failure technical support ensures that the service is carried out on a regular basis.
• Provides necessary precautions for efficient and safe use of information processing and automation.
• Resolves the University's Internet breakdowns and requests by communicating with the IT department.
• Conforms to all kinds of malfunctions and demands related to computer system.
• If warnings and instructions regarding work safety, use the necessary personal protective equipment.

Sistem & Network / System & Network



Basic Business and Responsibilities:

• The provision, organization and maintenance of the physical installation of the university network infrastructure.
• Identification of active / passive devices to be used in the network and design, development and integration of the system infrastructure required for the addition of new services.
• Establishment of necessary hardware and software infrastructure for healthy implementation of central network management, detection and updating of software versions of existing active devices.
• Constant observation of Internet usage traffic in the central system, analysis and reporting of errors, performance follow-up of active devices, and dynamic operation by problematic point operation.
• Observation of the active devices connected to the central spine with a single interface and the detection of the situation.
• To plan the internet infrastructure of existing and newly established units within the university.
• Providing uninterrupted internet access at campuses with sufficient speed and bandwidth, creating virtual networks and optimizing internet traffic.
• Providing organization and network security of IP addresses.
• Raising awareness about what to do and what to do in the system used by the unit staff with the removal of the campus network topology and in-service periodic trainings.
• Research on adding new innovations to existing infrastructure by following new technologies.
• Carrying out maintenance, repair, and system / physical installation of the servers in the campus. 
• To ensure the safety, arrangement and order of the spaces belonging to the system rooms.
• Receive periodic backups of servers located at the university.
• Doing hardware and software research and testing on how universities will work most efficiently.
• Servers, operating systems, security, etc. to carry out continuous researches on the issues, to seek solutions, to transfer the information about these subjects to the service personnel, to adapt the appropriate solutions to the system.
• Ensure that the organization's network structure is active / working.
• Disrupting the system and the system within the unit.
• E-mail system management.
• Installing and managing Web servers and databases.
• Web domains to manage FTP accounts, DNS (domain name) to edit and control.
• Provide e-mail accounts (with the extension .tr extension), to define and enforce Firewall policies.

Software

• Preparation of the software projects needed by the academic and administrative units of the university
• Performing software analysis, designating software and security standards, creating database models
• Managing databases
• Designing and updating the university web page, creating a web page for the required units.
• Updating and eliminating deficiencies (Gelsis, Persis, Obis etc.) in the university.
