Google Assistant: What is it and what does it do?
With Google Assistant, you can ask questions and perform tasks on some TVs. Assistant can be used in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish on TVs equipped with the Google Assistant feature. More languages will be added soon.

How does Google Voice Assistant work?
While your Android smartphone is in standby mode or playing music, press and hold the (play/search) button on the microphone headset for about 2 seconds or longer. The Google app is activated. Speak to Google through the app using the microphone on the headset.
